Welcome to NWAM (North Wales Advanced Motorcyclists Ltd
Croeso cynnes y chi gyd: A warm welcome to you all.
Here you will find lots of detail and information about our group. How we work and the way we support those who want to improve their motorcycling skills riding in North Wales.
“Joining the group vastly improved my confidence and road safety—an invaluable experience for any motorcyclist.”
The IAM does not use the term ‘instructor’. Candidates for the Advanced Motorcycle Test are not learners, and often have many years riding experience. We do not have ‘lessons’, we have instead in house one or two day courses and observed runs using your own motorcycle. An observer will support and follow you on such a run. He/she is there to offer support and advice, but never to take control. All decisions are yours alone.
